I do hope the JDS can help bridge the gap between solid state and tubes. I think that 47ohm output impedance option will do wonders for it's sound, but the proof is in the pudding

Thanks! I agree about the higher output impedance of the new JDS/ZMF headphone amp. It should offer an excellent synergy with higher impedance dynamic headphones. Especially ZMF offerings.

I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing/hearing more of the ZMF amp. That would go perfect on my desktop. My big hope is that it would have that higher impedance output. The price range is perfect. That is going to buy a day one buy for me.

I'm excited to try it at work. right now I have a small area on my desk where i stack an LTA MZ2 and the LPS, and leave that on all day while i'm at work. it's chewing up tube life and doesn't always get used, so a solid state option would be more ideal. definitely buying day one as well. i got my fingers crossed it can hold it's own with tubes...

While there are no official or unofficial events afterwards there are usually groups going to dinner or having drinks. There is no particular admission to the group .

The current BBB is not compatible, and the modularity of stuff like that is something that will be lesser than the current format purposely, not to say there won't be some options though.
