Canare ReCabling of Grado SR60

What effect does this Canare recabling have on the sound signature of the Grado SR60? If any owners or experts could comment on this, that'd be great.

Grado's are know to not really benefit from recabling. I don't have any sr60's with that particular cable but I doubt it would make a huge difference.

Imo, The biggest benefit to recabling grados is that you dont have to deal with that Y connector and the wire holds up better.

I re-cabled mine with the L-4E5C which is the low-profile Star Quad. While I haven't noticed any differences in the sound, I far prefer the Canare due to the same thing that Gecko mentioned: I hated that Y connector. Also, the cable was a bit long for my desk @ work so I made my new one nice and short. IMO don't expect a difference in sound.
