Decided I am going to start my DIY with cables and then move to a DIY DAC.

Want to make a stereo mini to mini using the Canare F12's

Then make a stereo mini to RCA using the Canare F12's paired with the Canare F10's

I have seen some pics of Steven Kelby's mini to rca cable and cannot seem to find the junction where the F12 get split for the 2 rca cables.

I need to find the splitter.

A recommendation for what wire I should use that will be sleeved with Techflex sleeving would also be greatly apprecaited...I will also be making some rca to rca cables...So I will probably need 3 and 2 lead wire that is the right size to work with the Canare connectors and the Techflex sleeving with heatshrink...Unless of course I should use something else.

Thanks for any recommendations or help getting all the right stuff the first time out.

Thanks Lil' Knight...Exactly what I was looking for.

A question for you though...They say you glue it together...What do you use?
Clear Silicone?

I went and checked out the heat shrink link and will probably go that route later...Going for easy starting out.

Thanks again for the reply's guy's

Silicone wont bond plastic. You want super glue, or something silly strong like Araldite. Just be careful ... and dont use too much.

It has a plug and you can just press the 2 parts together and they will fit without using glue.
But I just use a no-name liquid glue and spread around the contour

It'll stick solidly. No need to use silicone to fill the whole y-splitter, that'll make it damn heavy

Simply, that makes your cable look more beautiful.
You can also ask yourself that "What the point of woodifying my headphones?".
