I am very much enjoying the V6 sound with my Zen, but would love to enhance my portability with some canalphones.

I have been looking at the E3, E2 and ER6....

Can anyone suggest which (if any) of the canalphones provide equivalent, or come closest, to the overall sound of the Sony V6?

i think because the v6 is so boomy and have such sharp trebles, the sharp hp-md33s come closest. it have punchy low bass, a good amount of upper bass and low mids. the treble doesnt cause sibilance but is metallic, which seem to improve overtime so its not that bad.

if think going to the canalphone direction will only get you better sound quality than the v6.
