I just (after wanting them for a very long time) purchased a pair of DT1990 pros. I have been using a Fiio E10k for the last 5 years with my 80ohm 770s. I want to amp the 1990s with a magni 3 but it will be going to my PC so I wasn't sure if the e10k was compatible with the magni through the 3.5mm connector. I have heard mixed things about the e10k with the 1990s. Some people say the power is too low, some say the high sensitivity of the 1990s is fine and will work nicely with the e10k. I am going to invest in a nicer amp/DAC later on but I am on a budget at the moment and not sure what to do. I have seen there is a gaming combo dac/amp by Schiit as well. Any advice is appreciated.
