I had some spare time on my hands yesterday afternoon.

Three posibilities, 1. amp, 2. power supply, 3. DAC

Obviously not an amp from the lack of headphone jacks and volume control. So 1 is out.

You have nothing in your sig that will benefit much from an outboard power supply while you're running your computer rig from the Chaintech, so it's a DAC.

I think a dac for my computer rig maybe my next purchase. It's actually a "Firestone SUPLIER" for my "cute Beyond."
