I just wondered this as I regularly use foam earplugs for sleeping and my custom molds don't seem to seal as easily anymore

Very annoying considering how much they cost.

Any thoughts?

I've experience a similar thing, but it only seem a negligible increase in the canal opening size so the flex sleeves especially my left doesn’t fit as tight as it once did. Yet my right which was initially too tight now fits perfectly.

Hmm, interesting. The outside bit of your ears continue to grow all the way through your life, but I guess that's quite a slow process. Could mean the inside of your easier change as well though?

Yeah they can... at first even the small tips of the E2c wouldn't fit-- probably even if I tried to smash it in with a hammer. I stretched it so much after much pain and many tries and enlarged it enough so it became possible to even place medium sized tips.

yes, i also experience the same thing.

furthermore, i also experience a slight difference in fit throughout the day.
right after i wake up in the morning, the custom molds will fit tighter, a few hours later, they will fit slightly looser. kind of like your feet vs your shoes (morning vs afternoon).
