(First post and headphones yay!)
 
Im about to purchase the DT 990's - 600ohm edition, and eventually the objective2 amp and ODAC. I was just wondering If I brought the headphones first, would it be a bad idea to use them with crappy onboard motherboard soundcard and/or old stereo amplifier that I dont know the specifications of?

You'd probably get something good out of the stereo amplifier, granted it's of reasonable quality.

I cant find anything on the net about it.

Well, to me they sound alright I guess, I dont have anything better or worse to compare them too though, theres definitely a bit of hiss in there.
