Ive read the burn in tutorial and understand what i need to do.

Just wanted to check first that the HD228's can be burnt in?

I know its a pretty stupid question, i just thought you might not be able to as there quite cheap.

You can burn anything in. But you don't need to, in my opinion. I and some others here think burn-in is purely psychological. Just try spending a few hours with one can, then spend a few hours with another. You will see how your brain re-adjusts to the new sound signature. This is what people percieve as burn-in.

Yes, I do not see why not. Just like you can burn in any other head-/earphone.
I would just put on some music and start enjoying though, without thinking too much about it.
