The earpads on my AKG K702 need some cleaning. Besides geeting a pair of new one, can I just wash the earpads?

of course you can.

but if it's too old already, it might be better to just replace it with new ones, which thankfully are easily available online.

You can roll over the finger and collect the dust, this what I'm doing for the last 5 years.

I have washed my k701's earpads, and it seems like the k702s use the same model.
