I looked into the Fostex TH 600 and the Shure SRH 1540 and based on the responses I've received in their respective threads, those do not wrap around the neck well which is evidently a key feature I'm looking for. Any suggestions? In terms of ideal design, the K550 hits the spot pretty well (albeit a little heavy). The SQ is another story though

On-hear headphones like Grado I can put round my neck, but around-the-ear are generally too tight.
 
All depends how big your neck is I guess...
