I'm currently using Sony XBA-N3 with an AudioQuest Dragonfly 1.2 DAC.
Do I need the amplifiers? or just a cable upgrade is fine?
I'm using stock cable that included in the box.

At this price point you will probably get a bigger improvement in sound quality by buying better IEMS than worrying about after market cables. Unless the XBA's are very hard to drive and definitely need an amplifier.

XBA-N3 is good , but I wonder if I can improve its sound even more that's what i want.
