My desktop have a forte 7.1 right now,

as i heard many people said the internal sound card is no good for listening music.

so in order to get better music experience

what do i need?
i am a Noob don't know too much . ( i only start reading this forum 3 days ago)

I did really want the Hifiman EF2 it looks like a really good unit..
but seems like i don't have room for it( can't really put it in somewhere with good air flow..

so what can i get ?
budget is around 160-200 us dollars +/-20
( base on Ebay pricing hehe)

can anyone give me some suggestion???

the ef2 is really small.. it doesn't need that much air flow i think, mine didnt even get hot

i am thinking about getting a D10 for my portable use...
how is the DAC inside the EF2 when compare to the D10


EF2 got a stronger AMp then the D10 right ?
