I have a RatShack mini-toggle in my PIMETA/Hammond panel.
It's functional, but it looks like crap(IMHO).

I want either:

A pushbutton ON-OFF switch, very low profile (like a button in a chrome ring, NOT a long stalk sticking up with a button on top).
I've found dozens of momentary contact, but no ON-OFF.

or:

A SMALL rocker switch(1/2 inch(?) , either round or rectangular mounting hole.
The smallest I can find is 3/4 inch.

Size limits:

Mounting hole no more than 1/2 inch round, or 1/2 x 3/4 rectangle.
Depth behind panel no more than one inch.

I've looked at RatShack, Mouser, Digi-Key, and Allied.

I've used the swith to the far right end of this panel several times. You can get it in silver or black, and the silver one uses an aluminum cap. It's not exactly low-profile, but it's fairly low, and does not have the 'mushroom' button on stalk look as many of them do. It's a Mountain switch from Mouser.

Thanks for the pointer.

I think your switch is the 103-1423. Not quite what I was looking for.
But right next to it, on the same page, is what I want, the 103-502XX.
Right height, right size, right price.

Do you know, what is the diffreence between ON-OFF and OFF-(ON)?

(ON) = momentary contact... with the OFF being the resting state
Lots of nice switches with that designation!

I hear ya... all the good ones are momentary. You can build a controller actuated by a momentary switch... Wooderson used a vandal-resistant switch in his amp this way.

It's a Sescom piece, actually. I must say (unfortunately) that their service way not great with me, and I've heard of similar stories. Perhaps due to their reorganization having just taken place at the time. My first case came in a size that did not really exist- not at all what I ordered. ANd it was nit milled well either, so it was really just scrap. They did offer to send the proper case right away, and it was okay, but it took a while to get a response from them.

But the design itself is pretty neat. In this example, the extended side panels are just long enough that you could actually stand it up on them, and the toggle and BNCs clear the deck.
