Hi all,

I purchased a DV 336i a while back, which the owner gave me a few tubes with. Can anyone help me identify the tubes and approximately how much they are worth?

Here's what I have identified on the tubes:
  1. RCA Electron Tube 6-22
  2. 6N6PJ (star on front with chinese letters)
  3. Chatham 6As76
  4. RCA 6SN7GTB x2

The one with the star is a stock chinese tube.

The tube that says JANxxxx6AS7G is a military designation and is an upgrade from stock rear tube. JAN = Joint Army Navy

The two RCA 6SN7GTB are also upgrades to the stock front tube.

The RCA Electron Tube 6-22 is another 6AS7G with grey plates for the rear that is an upgrade to the stock rear tube, but the black plate Chatham may be slightly better - you should try it.

I would guess a NOS rear tube like your Chatham or RCA is under $30 shipped each, and front RCA tubes is under $15-20 shipped each.

You can buy nos 6AS7Gs for $11-13 each from several tube vendors.
