Has anyone used the Buf-634 inn the SO-8 package and can the SO-8 Buf-634 output 250 Ma?

In many cases smaller packages really don't allow the same ammount of power dissipation as bigger ones. Datasheets always contain relevant information in such cases, so check there.

Thanks aos but I didn't ask the question correctly. I was mainly inerested if anyone has use this surface monut part and what was the experiences may had came up like current output and any other electrical situations. But I am going to use a large box now that will be able to hold a larger PCB and rechargeable batties with the Buf-634 in the 8 pin dip package.
