I use my streamer to feed the pre-amp, and from there I now use the rec-out to feed my headphone amp (Schiit Lyr2). I would like to minimise the signal paths, so was considering using the RCA out of the streamer to feed my Schiit. The XLR out is already in use for the pre amp.
Is this OK to do? Without any deterioration of the signals?

Solved by Customer Service of Marantz EU: the XLR and RCA outputs are completely independent, so can be used simultaneously!
