I am thinking of getting this cheap DAC/ headphone amp combo but I want to know if I can also use my Fiio E6 with it as well for basic eq settings?

Can I do this or is it a bad idea?

Nothing against using it, but there's no real use for double amping. Amps can introduce signatures of their own, and if you have many of them in the chain, these artifacts also get amplified. Just get a DAC if you already have an amp.

The two in chain are good if they are quality AMPs but Fiio E6 won't improve much and it's not bad either.
