Hello friends,
Hoping someone is knowledgable and able to assist. I just purchased a cable off of a fellow member for the T1. The cable is terminated in 4pin XLR. I was thinking I could just get a 3.5 to 2.5 mono adapter, however when I received the cable i noticed that the 3.5 plug into the headphone is terminated in TRS, not TS, which the M1060 is.
I have two adapters coming. One stereo 3.5 to 2.5, and another mono 3.5 to 2.5.
My question is, based on your knowledge of how the Beyerdynamic are wired, will either of those adapters work?
Also, out of curiosity, is the Beyerdynamic actually using all three contacts for the TRS? What's the third contact for?
Appreciate any help I can get. Cuz if it won't work, I've got a T1 cable for sale.
