8620 should mate well with senns, but you can always experiment. if we're to generalize: burr-brown opamps tend to have a "smooth, laid back" character and analog designs tend to have a more forward character (of which your 8620 is one). senns tend to be more "laid back" by nature so they may sound over-mellow to you with a burrbrown opamp.
my allesandro ms-1's (grado) sounded excellent with opa627's (burr brown) because they were too forward with the original 8620's. for you it might just be too mellow.
but really: opamp rolling is all about playing around and seeing what you like and don't like.
ps: i don't know whether your classic has socketed opamps or not, but i'd be suprised if it didn't.
I like the sound of my HD-600s with either AD8620 or OPA2107 opamps. I suppose which one I use depends on what I'm listening to at the moment. The AD8620 is a bit more aggressive on the highs, but that's not a problem with the Senns and you might prefer that anyway. Both are quite detailed.
