The audio ports (both sound card and audio jack) have given out on my pc over time, so I was looking into a portable sound card with a usb connection. There are also no expansion slots for a internal sound card like the Creative Xonar_DG, so that's out of the question. Thing is, can I use the E17 as my sound card as a dac only and use the Digizoid Zo 2 after it with good results, or would that be double amping by default?
I'll be buying the E17 anyway, due to its versatility.
