Hello, head-fi!
I just sold my pair of AudioEngine A2s and bought a pair of Mackie MR8 studio monitors for listening to music with in my bedroom. The source will just be an iPod, straight out of the headphone jack. This worked fine for the A2s and I wanted to check to make sure that the digital volume on the iPod Touch would suffice for listening out of the Mackies.
If I'm horribly mistaken, what is the cheapest fix? I did a search on the forum and found recommendations for a RatShack inline headphone volume control, but is that even necessary?
Thanks!
