Have you been to best buy? They have a demo K550 in their Magnolia home theater section. At least they did in 3 best buys I've been in Boston.

No, I haven't. I was hoping to have a more leisurely and intimate experience (that sounds dirtier than it should) than an in-store demo, but I'll still check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

No problem. Also, try going to a head-fi meet. You can have bit more leisurely listening there.

I really want to, but it keeps not working out. The annual Austin meet happens when I'm at school, as did the recent Dallas meet, as will the upcoming Dallas meet (tentatively). Someday, though…
