SHP 9500 were the first headphones I kicked off this hobby with. (If I don't count Porta pro 20 years ago.)
and I swear to god these cans imprinted on me like that Smootchie walrus.
now whatever else I try just feels not right.
anybody has the same feeling with their fans?

Yeah we do get used to stuff ... also headphones. If you listen to music on one headphone only for a long time you think that this is how it is supposed to sound.
If you find something else you like and listen to it long enough your perception will eventually shift ... also eventually not
