Can anyone recommend a fairly inexpensive {$20.00} tosslink cable that can handle 24/192? Picked up one and it handles 24/92 fine but no 24/192. I am running a mimby/ vali2 stack.

From the Schiit specs:
Modi 2 Multibit: 16/44.1 to 24/192 via USB. 16/44.1 to 24/192 via Toslink* and Coax, with 24/176 and 24/192 being NOS (non-oversampled)

*Note: many optical transmitters cannot output 24/176 and 24/192 reliably
It's most likely not the cable. What is your transmitter? Does the spec say it can output 24/192?

Toslink may not go that high for some rated devices so may not be the cables fault.
Regardless of which, I would recommend glass fibre over the plastic.

Yes my motherboard specs are rated 24/192 over toslink.
