I have seen The DIY Headphone stand thread on this forum, and I was intrigued with many of the various designs shown in that thread. Now I am unable to work with wood/metal pipes, plastic, etc... tools due to nerve damage/muscle control issues, so I asked a relative of mine to build one for me. While he agreed early on, he lacks the free time to do it.

Now, I could order a pre-built one online, but I need specifics for this stand. Due to my clumsiness, I will have to get a bigger and heavier stand so it will be very hard to knock down by accident. I was thinking a heavy baseplate would do the trick. I am willing to sacrifice looks for a sturdier headphone stand that will hold a bigger pair of headphones. A lot of headphone stands online such as Amazon look too thin and fragile to me, so nearly all of them are not options for me.

So is there anyone who would be willing to make a custom headphone stand for me?

You could also get with a local carpenter on craigslist, I thought about doing that to have a custom dac/amp stand built

Thanks, I will contact him and see what options are available for his custom stands.

Right now, I have a couple of options at this point. It is going to be a bit hard to make a final decision. Thanks for the responses so far everyone :)

Yakiboy also makes really nice stands. Easy to work with also if you have a custom design in mind.
