I have a set of Sony MDR-EX90s and I would like to "merge" them with the Apple iPhone bud/mic/control cord that came with the phone. I am an absolutely pathetic solderer, and the thought of working on such tiny devices and melting a $100 set of buds and cutting up my iPhone set to boot scares the bujeebus out of me. Is there a shop I can mail the stuff to that will do this? Seems like small electronics repair places have all but disappeared - at least in my area...
