Can anybody sign this petition to support Daniel Craig?

I can't believe someone actually started this petty petition. How about, "HEY HOLLYWOOD, STOP MAKING CARP MOVIES!!!1!"

Sadly, hollywood ain't listening. How else do you explain Uwe Boll still being allowed to film?

I have to agree, while Lazenby didn't really seem like bond he did fill the part and OHMSS definitely kicked some serious butt.

From the amazing instrumental intro and amazing peaks of the jungfrau to Louis Armstrongs "all the time in the world".

Definitely a stand out bond that slays "diamonds are forever" along with most if not all bonds made since.

I felt likewise when Brosnan was first brought on board. I thought he had all the qualities to be the perfect Bond. But I've been disappointed with Brosnan's Bond. His Bond style seems to harken back to the days Connery's Bond but it just doesn't sound right coming from him. I blame the uninspired material more than anything else for the shortcomings (to my eyes and ears) of Brosnan's Bond.

That's why I'm really looking forward to Casino Royale. I want to see the franchise take on a fresh perspective. I have my doubts about this, and I think it will be nearly impossible for Wilson and Broccoli to stray too far from what brought them steady success. But I love the Bond character and story too much not to give the benefit of doubt.

I am going to wait and see the movie. I am not going to sign a petition or boycott the movie. Before I saw Goldeneye, I thought Pierce Brosnan was going to be another lame Timothy Dalton. It turned out he was a great choice.

Look, I'm a huge Bond fan, have been for years, own all the movies. What this remake is going to do new (completely unnecessary btw, the old one was fine) is have a Bond villian winning at Texas Hold 'Em. Yes, that's correct people. Frickin Bond is going to be playing poker, because no one understands the original games.

Pathetic, just pathetic...

That's my fear, that the change will be for the worse. If this Bond flops, Wilson and Broccoli need to be removed from the helm.

Wow...I didn't hear that Bond is going to be playing Hold 'Em as opposed to Baccarat. To most this isn't a big deal, but being a huge fan over the years this strikes me as somewhat of a disappointment. I think that making compromises like that with the Bond character are a bit much. I think change is good as I said in my earlier post.
Albeit, to completely acquiesce to passing trends like hold 'em (that has faded in popularity anyhow and is a predominately American pastime) is lame and gimmicky. This film may have 'Never Say Never' written all over it again, lol.
Sometimes I just don't know what Hollywood producers/writers are thinking...

Happens all the time. I'd rather have an actor not try to drive a car. If you knew how many times they faked out the driving of a car in the movies, you'd cry.
