I want a set of IEMs like the thinksound rains in price and quality, but that have a phone mic too, is there such a thing and could the list be edited to indicate at a glance what IEMs have mic and controls also, or a separate list be made?

i agree, a list would be nice. 
 
i haven't heard the thinksound rains, but the piston 2 were decent and i hear the piston 3 is more balanced sounding.  the 3 button controls are designed for xiaomi phones but they work with the majority of android phones as well.  i think for apple devices the mic still works and you can skip tracks, but the volume buttons do not function.  both can be found for about $20-35.
