I recognize the sheer vanity of this post, and will thus keep it short.

I'd like to see proper pictures of RS-1/2 with both black and mahogany c-pads as I'm looking to acquire a pair. Surely someone has these combinations?

I might have time to re-visit this thread again, after you've checked out the thread. All I have left is c-pads for my SR-60, but not the version for wood and metal. They do help the bass and soundstage to be more balanced in the SR-60.
