Hi all just wondering what everyone is doing with their Sony F805's? I have a HTC One and find that the Fiio AMPs help work the magic of the music but with my F805 I prefer just using it without an AMP?

What have people got setup? Does anyone find the same result?

I am using my F805 with detailed IEMs without amp. Synergy with RE0 and R50 is excellent.

Cheers s0lar. Funny enough I pulled out my old E5 amp and that sounds pretty good with my Sony MDRr1rbt (wired). Just lifts the bass a little which you lose slightly.

F80X doesn't push the bass forward. But I care more for forward mids. F80X sounds very good to my ears with more analytical IEMs by bringing the mids forward and making the presentation more intimate but more 3D-like as well.
