I've been looking too for earpads for my 2 Sony 'Eggo' MDR-D77's
Yesterday I found:
3.5"x 2.25"inch headphone EAR pad cup tip earpad cover - eBay (item 350323949363 end time May-02-10 04:06:43 PDT)
Not sure on how perfect they will fit (85mm x 55mm? though the seller mentions different inch-sizes for the pads in his ad).
I'm planning on ordering 2 sets for myself next month (damn those 12€ shipping costs)

Tell me if you've found anything else, or (if you order there too) we could split shipping costs

Sorry for delay in replying

I have found somewhere in the UK with the Gemini Eggphones for sale, so have put an order in for 2 pairs, at a total of £25, so thats £12.50 a pair including postage, just to take the earpads off and throw the headphones away, seems strange, but thats the way it goes i guess

posting/advertising your item like that is a big no no on this forum you should be posting in the headphone for sale section. As amazing a the eggo d77 is you should read the rules.

also wow eggos. I still have a pair of d77 drivers. what a rare find. One of my favorite headphones.

I ended buying 3 pairs of these earpads as my other option fell through.  They fit pretty much perfect, maybe slightly too small width wise, but once they are on your ears it doesn't matter, a very cheap option compared to the official replacements if you can find any

Yep, not a bad fit, i won't post a photo of mine cos they look the same, the foam is a little thicker width wise than the originals, but it squidges up ok once on your ears, i would say they are a very cheap good option if you need replacement pads for these headphones, and at the price you can buy a few pairs so you needn't worry about replacements for a long time

I have a set of MDR-D22SL earpads.  Completely new in box, 100% original sony, unused I'd be willing to sell if anyone was interested.

They're not quite the same as the leather D77's, they're a faux leather, but still quite nice.

Thanks!
