I have just discovered this great group. For anyone else who likes them can you recommend some other groups I might like?

For the southern rock and roots sound try Drive By Truckers, Neko Case, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (start with their album "Howl"). Band of Horses are basically a very similar sounding band but of lesser talent, at least in my opinion. Still could be worth a listen.

I agree with all of these, although I tend to think Band of Horses is quite good. I'd add Built To Spill to your list as well.

MMJ is great. I agree with the recommendations and would add Son Volt.

Second that. Especially older Built To Spill I like a lot.
