Apos Audio has contacted me personally for a test of their new Ray Tube 12AU7.

I am looking for 4 more participants who are interested in testing it and writing a report about it.

Apos Audio will provide the tubes, the only thing that might be possible is that you would have to pay for the customs clearance and send them to another participant if necessary.
Regarding customs clearance, it can also slip through depending on the country.

I manage the tour for Apos Audio because of the administrative burden.
We want, and Apos Audio demand, that the tubes are tested on a good amplifier after you have heard them and reported on how good they are.

As we are looking for good amps it would be nice if you tell me the amp and the rest of the setup.Picture from them would be nice.
This can be stereo as well as headphones.
Unfortunately I have to be a bit selective in this respect.

Last but not least, we are looking for 2-3 participants who will also have the opportunity to test the Apo's Ray 12AU7 tubes on less good amplifiers.

I am interested, have xDuoo TA-20 Plus

Hello,
We already have 2 participants who will try the tubes on their Xudoo amplifier.
We have received 2 sets, one set is still with me where it will go to a participant next week, the other set is already in circulation.
I have heard that the set on the Cayhin Ha 3A is doing a very good job.
I still have to try one or the other combination on my amplifier as my amplifier is a bit more versatile in terms of output tubes.
Sometimes I have a distanced vocal depending on the output tube, sometimes not.
I can try various output tubes on the amplifier,Kt 66,88,6v6,6y6,6K6,EL 34/81 and many more and the Ray reacts slightly differently to them.
What I can say at the moment is that it keeps up very well with various Nos tubes.
You have to get to know these tubes a bit better to be able to determine them better.
They have a good mix of Nos and New Old Stock.
I really like the sound so far and will test more when I have a set back.
Regarding burn in I can say ignore the first 6-8 hours, after that it will definitely become clearer and is already there, and it will get better and better.
Apos Audio has done a good job with the manufacturer so far.
