Recently aquired westone W60's and supplier included Fiio RC-SE1 cables which I find provide much better SQ than stock cables. My question: would pure silver cables offer even more SQ improvement, keeping in mind my ears have more than 70 years of mileage and undoubtedly cannot appreciate high's beyond 15K.

The w60s are very neutral sounding. I think silver cables would make them too bright. I’m using the Eletech Socrates cable which is a very neutral sounding copper cable. Also tried the moon-audio bronze cable which is also copper. Also good, but the Socrates is way smoother with wider soundstage.

Hello again. Well I have to admit that I was wrong. I connected my Astell & Kern upgrade cable which is all silver to the W60s and they sound so much better. It actually has more bass and the treble is not bright at all. Very open soundstage. May have to sell my Socrates cables now. Anyway, good luck.
