I'm wondering if the way I'm wrapping my M50X cable is harmful in any way. I'm wondering primarily because when I plug it into my device, every once in a while, the sound flickers when it's at a certain angle. Is there a better way I should be wrapping my cables? (for convenient, portable use) Furthermore, should I be wrapping my ear buds like this too? And if not, how should I be wrapping them? Thank you for any responses.

That way isn't necessarily harmful, but as a rule of thumb it is best to coil all cables like snakes.  You don't want to be coiling it up very small either to the point that the coils stiffen up.  3 inches wide or larger coils should do for most cables.  This helps promote the cable's lifespan, while tight twists and bends will put more strain on the cable's wires.
