Cable problems with 4 months old Nuforce NE-7

About 4 months ago I bought the Nuforce NE-7 and I'm very happy with them. Today I noticed there was no sound coming through the right ear. I couldn't find any signs of cable break or loose parts, but after moving the cable gently on the side where it enters the plug (with the supposed to be flexible but actually pretty stiff thick plastic bit) I could get the sound back. So it is a cable break in the (entry of the) plug and I'm going to have to contact the store and/or Nuforce to get it fixed.

I've been pretty careful with my phones and I haven't been using them really heavy or anything, so I find the appearance of this defect rather fast and not worthy of a $50 phone.

Has anyone else had this problem with Nuforce?

Just get a replacement under warranty, that's what I did when the mic started acting flaky (within a month of ownership). Then, I sold the new pair, because I didn't really enjoy them as much as I thought I would.
