These are cheap (~$20) headphones I got in 2006 (my first decent headphones), and since have sold to my brother, and since then the cable died (starting with the inline volume control, which he bypassed temporarily with some stiff CAT-5 innards). Now they sit disassembled and unusable, and I finally realized I/he/we should just recable them. So, wondering what would be a good cheap/common cable to use. I have scraps of various random cables lying around. Also while we have them disassembled, I thought I'd try modding them (although it's been so long since I've heard them I'm not sure what I'd be trying to accomplish), so any suggestions there would be appreciated as well.
EDIT: Oh and I guess we might need a cheap connector, too. Probably won't find one of those lying around
