I am thinking about buying an Audioquest Mini-1 mini to mini cable for an amp. The Length is 1 meter, will that make that much of a difference compared to buying a cable that is 6 inches?

The difference will be so negligible that I would be impressed if you could hear any change in SQ. It's a quality cable, you should be fine.

I doubt most people would notice any difference since the current in the wire runs at too high a speed, that's why sometimes i question the insulation required on a LOD but ya...

it may make a teeny weeny difference at some material science low level, but if you need a meter then theres little one can do about that - just get the right length for practicalitys sake.

The risk you might take is that the cable of 1 m length if uninsulated will act as an antenna, if you are in a noisy environment (lots of cellphones, other digital devices etc)
