I made my decision long ago here about what headphones to purchase, with the help of some of you. I was suggested Ultrasone PRO 900's, and to my satisfaction, it was a good decision. Best headphones I've ever owned.
However, my headphone's stock cable is starting to go. This wasn't the manufacturer's fault, it was my own. I have a bad habit of shifting between sitting on one leg while I'm at my desk. The stock cord is incredibly short, so, I caught it a few times with my leg, and gave it a big unhealthy yank. So, I have to fiddle with the cable in order to get it to produce sound through both ears. Kind of a pain in the ass, but they still work regardless of the beatings I gave it.
I am looking for a lengthy cable (I think the sweet spot would be between 5 and 6 feet) to replace the stock cable with. As far as parts, abbreviations, and just general information goes... I have no idea what I'm looking at.
I'd like a suggestion for a basic lower costing, yet solid replacement cable (lengthy). I was also looking at the Moon Audio dragon cables. However, I don't think it's necessary, but, I love these headphones, and play almost every game, every video with them on. I don't mind playing with the idea of treating them to some bling. So, could I get some feedback? Explain your reasoning like you were talking to a child, because, after reading some threads here, I've decided I had to make my own thread due to my lack of knowledge.
Thanks for your feedback, and suggestions!![Headphone Smile :) :)](https://cdn.head-fi.org/e/headfi/smily_headphones1.gif)
