has anyone constructed a jig to hold two cables in place while you glue them with super glue?

i am trying to glue two Mogami 2549 cables together and would appreciate any tips.

the Mogami 2549 has 2 wires and a shield. i want to keep the channels going to the dt831 separate. so i will have one cable in each earcup. the wires will be deparated. i do not want to add a cloth sleeve. some guys have glued the two cables together so that it looks like the Mogami 3106. i want to know a really good way of doing it (ie, professional looking).

for those who would do the same:

i took a piece of wood, stapled a piece from a cigar box sidepanel (it was the same thickness as the Mogami 2552 cable), doubled up the two wires against it (to take up any slack) and then stapled a nother piece of cigar box wood against it.

the two wires now ride inside a channel.

using glue with a very fine tip, i just pour the glue down the middle channel between the two wires and wait 15 minutes.

i then pull on the end just glued and repeat the process until the whole cable is glued together.

nice, dirty, cheap, and accurate.
