I'm thinking of recabling my DT-770 and I wonder which cable to go for?
Share all of your tips, please!

EDIT:
There's got to be some tips out there. What does Larry at Headphile use?

Thank you man, finally an answer!
Isn't there a few different types of Cardas? If yes, which one is the better one?
Where is the cheapest place to get the cable?

I cannot find any Cardas sold per meter (or feet) at MoonAudio.
Where are they?

EDIT:

Do you think this one's a worthy alternative to the Cardas cable?

SPC = Silver Plated Copper (found at a local ebay dealer near you)

Not sure if you've searched for threads related to the topic, but here are a some:

There are several places to purchase starquad wire from and many sell it by the foot.

http://www.markertek.com/SearchProdu...f=37&sort=prod is one of many many sellers out there.

Hopefully, some more experienced members can give you better advice (I think I'll always consider myself a noob here no matter what).

Goodluck!

takefiveaudio has starquad.

You could try something new that could be better.

Or just stick the tested and proven quality cable.

It all depends on how much you want to spend, and what sound you looking for.

Another option is you could build your own cable from scratch. buy some nice silver wire and sleeve it all yourself.

The problem is that I cannot find Cardas cables for sale inside EU. If I buy from USA, or in this case Canada (takefiveaudio), I'll have to pay so much in toll fees to get the package that it's not worth it.

That's why I try to find an alternative to the Starquad and only you can help me since the most of you know what it looks like.

I've also thought about making a braid of pure silver, but I think it will be to fragile for normal portable use.

Which one of the two cables that i posted do you think is the better one?
1. The shielded signal cable in silver plated copper
2. Gotham Audio Cables microphone cable in pure copper?

Thank you for your time guys...
