Recently purchased from Periaptcables, a dual 3.5mm cable that terminates into 4.4mm for my Spirit Torino Titanos.
Problem is that while the right channel works perfectly fine, the left channel is near silent.
Oddly enough the left channel works when I plug said cable halfway; which makes me question whether it's a matter of cable defect or incompatibility.
The stock dual 3.5mm->XLR cable (basically the same cable hifiman uses) that comes with my headphones work perfect, so I know the headphones work fine.
But the one distinction is that the 3.5mm on the stock has 2 rings as opposed to the Periapt's 1 ring.
I know the rings separate channels, so I feel like the cable should work regardless on my headphones because it's just for one side; especially since my right channel works. But if my assumption is wrong I'd like to be told so.
