So all of these phone are around 40-70usd, and I am looking for new phones. The RE2 were terrible in my mind when I had them for a week. So I am looking at these. Which one of these has the better sound stage, and better all around SQ balance for all music not really slow classical, techno or urban country. Or should I be looking at JVC model?

what is the S1?

still id prob say pl-50, for the money im not sure anything can beat it

radiopaq jazz is great too if your after a more significant bass line going on

"all around SQ balance for all music" is a pretty vague term. give us an idea of what sort of bass (weight, how hard it should hit), how upfront you'd like the mids to be, and other details that might be of help. At this price point you will not find good soundstage for the most part, so don't let that be of great priority. Since you're looking for balance, the C2 and S4 might not be good choices as they're said to be quite warm. Not so sure on the C1 though I'm personally hoping that the PL-50 gets to the states quick (instead of just being on ebay).
