Mine finally arrived. How much burn in did people feel this amp needs? It doesn't sound all that great to me right now...about 10 hours run-in so far...

I had the same reaction, but around 30 hours everything started to change, and it seems to keep getting better. I'm at 40 hours and counting.

My initial impression of C&C was not so good. Sound stage and range was slightly narrow.
But after 100 hours burn-in,sound stage was opened up and range was extended gradually.
I feel C&C Box need over 200H burn-in.

I got this amp a few days ago and at first I wasn't too impressed. Initially I thought the amp wasn't any better then my LDM+, but I've been burning it in w/ static (gotta love tuners) and after about 40 hours I just gave it a listen for the last 40 min or so and I've gotta admit I'm liking this amp. We'll see if it gets better

The C&C amp improves over time. I've been using it for more than 100 hours, the most noticeable change to me is that the bass become tighten up after burn-in. (though I still think its bass is a bit too strong, let's see if it'll get better after more burn-in)

I guess mine has about 100+ hours on it, and I can't say at what point it will sound its best. I can however say that this amp has changed more then any of the others I have checked out. At first I thought a flaming bag of poo zipping by my ear just might sound better lol. but... everytime I would check back in with the C&C it would sound better then the time before. The three swithces are done VERY well for what they are supposed to do. The battery life is awesome , I've not stretched it too far but I know it ran for over 2 days straight the two times I had it burning in. I think that is very impressive as in general it seems there are sound quality trade-offs for better battery run time. I'd have to say that the C&C Box V2 has found the "sweet spot" in that regard. and lets not forget power to burn, it drove the 650's and 701's with plenty of headroom. amazing.

my battery lasts about 5-6 hours! when I asked I was told that there was a typo on the group buy stats and was supposed to say 7 hours instead of 70

I am not sure how long mine runs but it is much longer than that. I would make sure you are getting a full charge and then contact the seller.

will do. I've had it plugged in now for the last 45 hours running some fm static through it to burn it in. I'll give it a little more then plug in my Mr. X XP to burn in and give the C&C Box a listen
