Did you sell them because of the PS-1?

what is your opinion about PS-1?

I wrote here that "both the HD-650/Zu Cable combo and the PS-1 Pros meet my requirements. This is not to say that they sound identical -- far from it. They sound more or less equally good; the difference lies in the character of the respective sonic experience."

Even if there were a difference in sound quality, I would probably be unable to provide a percentage.

In the same post I wrote :

"So, does anybody need the new Grado PS-1 Pros?

As far as I am concerned, the answer is "no". At EUR1,250, they're clearly a luxury item. You can get HD-650s (EUR400) and a ZU Mobius cable ($199 special offer for 2.5m) [...] for less money."

"On the other hand, the PS-1 Pros are the best sounding Grado headphones I am aware of [...]."

My conclusion was:

"The PS-1 Pros are great sounding headphones and therefore a very attractive product, but indispensable they're not, just like their predecessors, the HP-1000s."

I trust the above answers your questions.

yes thank you

in particular when you wrote:
"The PS-1 Pro's sound is not as "holographic" as that of the HD-650s, but instead more "in your face". More of the sonic event takes place inside your head, rather than outside. The muscular PS-1 Pros "press" the musical details into your ears -- not in any way unpleasant, but clearly without the nobility or the elegance of the HD-650s. "

"nobility and elegance" sounds cool
