Hi all. I spent some time with some BX5a a while back and decided to buy a pair of powered desktop speakers/monitors.
The initial choice was the BX8 D2 as these seem highly regarded and well reviewed.
The BX8 carbons have just come out and can't find much information around if the new amp type and construction is worth the extra cost in sound quality ...
Also, with the BX range now having a 6" model in the BX6 carbon, i'm wondering if that would be a better choice for the desk.
So, basic question: is the BX8/BX6 carbon worth the extra price over the D2?
