the thing with importing from Japan is, the D2K so not sound like the most robust headphones, and I do not want to get caught in a tricky situation.

Well how else would the D2000s make it to other countries then? I mean sure they could come over by ship freight, but they can't be that fragile where they get messed up in shipment. You might want to ask other guys in the EU where they got their D2000s from.

£200 is the best I could find in the UK just now. I got mine from Audiocubes over a year ago, total cost came to about £165 after shipping & tax
