Hey guys,

I am buying a pair of Klipsch RF3 II from someone for $500. (Is this a good price?)
Since I am a newbie in regards to speakers, what would be a good way to test them so that they sound perfectly without any defects?

For the price, look at your local craigslist for deals on old vintage Klipsch's like some Forte or Forte II's, Quartets, Cornwalls if your lucky, then if your really adventurous, you talk to Bob Crites about upgrading your Klipsch's crossovers and tweeters, most people would agree that the old klipsch sounds better than the new.
