So I have to get some cables for my car. I don't have much to spend ~60 for RCA interconnects from my PIE to a panel I'm setting up near my lighter with female-female RCA bulkheads. From there I will run an RCA to 1/8" to the ipod. Anyways, I've been shopping around for cables while simultaneously checking head-fi to see if anyone is selling cheap cables. Unfortunetly all I can find is cables in the ~60+ range. Same goes for most of the websites out there.

I was able to find tech+link mini-to-RCA interconnects at meier but I have no idea how much shipping will cost me.
The other thing I found was the straightwire at headroom.

So this is what I'm planning on getting:
Straight wire 1m from hte PIE aux in adapter to the female to female bulkhead:

And this think I found via a thread on hi-fi: http://cgi.ebay.com/custom-made-1-8-...ayphotohosting

What do you guys think? Is the RF stopper on the RCA to 1/8" pointless?

Unfortunetly some things are not ideal. #1 I don't like the fact that the 1/8" is straight but I can live with it. The other thing I don't like is that I have to pay twice for shipping. It would be best if I could find someone who makes affordable custom interconnects, or if the ebay guy also made RCA to RCA.

Would anyone like to share their low cost solutions to my problem?
Should I start a thread to see if anyone wants to pawn off their superior cables to these ones in my price range?

Thank you
